Richard J. Navarro Appointed to Boards of Directors

BOISE, Idaho -- IDACORP, Inc. (NYSE:IDA) announced following the Feb. 10 meeting of its board of directors the appointment of Richard J. Navarro to serve on the boards of directors of IDACORP and Idaho Power Company.

Navarro began his career with Albertson's Inc., holding numerous financial and accounting positions within the organization's finance department over the past 30-plus years; he has served as the Chief Administrative Officer of Albertson's LLC since March 2014. Previously, Navarro was the Chief Financial Officer of Albertson's LLC, from June 2006 to March 2014. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, he was a consultant providing financial management services to various businesses. Navarro also served as Senior Vice President and Controller at Albertson's Inc. from 1999 to 2003, and as Group Vice President and Controller at Albertson's Inc. beginning in 1993.

Navarro has previously served as a member of several boards of directors: Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. from 2005 to 2014; TitleOne Corporation from 2004 to 2013; and the Boise State University Foundation from 1992 to 2014. He is also the past Chairman of the Associated Taxpayers of Idaho.

Navarro, a Certified Public Accountant, is a graduate of Boise State University and the Executive Financial Management Program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
