IDACORP Sustainability Report Goes ‘Above the Lines’

05 / 26 / 2015

BOISE—IDACORP, Inc. (NYSE: IDA) – The fourth annual sustainability report shows how the company goes “Above the Lines” to better serve its stakeholders.

The report, released today at the company’s 2015 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, focuses on principal operating subsidiary Idaho Power. It details how employees work to ensure the company and communities they serve remain strong.

“Choosing the title for this year’s report was easy,” said Darrel Anderson, IDACORP President and CEO. “In brainstorming our theme, we quickly realized that our company is about more than our dams and our thousands of miles of power lines. Our reach exceeds our footprint, and this report shows how.”

In addition to a progress report on IDACORP’s 2014 Focus Areas and a look at 2015’s initiatives, readers will find metrics on areas such as estimated carbon dioxide emissions intensity and Idaho Power-enabled renewable generation, among others. Additionally, three short articles detail the innovative ways the company and its employees foster financial, environmental and social stewardship as they work to improve operational efficiencies, and help the communities they serve. New for this year is a section outlining community contributions, including non-financial giving.
