IDACORP Releases 2012 Sustainability Report

23 / 05 / 2013

BOISE, Idaho – IDACORP, Inc. (NYSE: IDA) has released its second annual Sustainability Report. Titled Alignment, the report tracks the company’s progress toward 2012 sustainability initiatives, and illustrates its focus on aligning business practices with financial, environmental and social stewardship.

“We’re proud to offer our stakeholders this meaningful look into our day-to-day operations,” said IDACORP, Inc. President and CEO J. LaMont Keen. “We believe our sustainability platform and programs reflect well on our company’s vision, values and mission.”

Last year’s report, the company’s first, provided a comprehensive overview of nearly a century of sustainable business practices and outlined the company’s 2012 initiatives. This year’s report is more concise, with a focus on metrics and tracking the company’s progress toward those initiatives.

“It’s exciting to see that, less than one year after issuing our first Sustainability Report, we’ve been recognized by an independent third party for our performance,” said Keen. “We continue to build on IDACORP’s long tradition of balanced and responsible management, and this second report reinforces our efforts.”

Like the 2011 report, Alignment primarily looks at Idaho Power’s performance and results, though the philosophical approach to business, responsibility and stewardship is consistent across all IDACORP subsidiaries.
