IDACORP Announces 2008 Results

Year-End and Fourth Quarter
BOISE-IDACORP, Inc. (NYSE:IDA) reported 2008 net income of $98.4 million or $2.17 per diluted share compared to $82.3 million or $1.86 per diluted share in 2007. IDACORP reported 2008 fourth quarter net income of $7.4 million or $0.16 per diluted share, compared to $10.3 million or $.23 per diluted share in 2007. Idaho Power Company (IPC), IDACORP's principal subsidiary, reported fourth quarter net income of $7.7 million compared to $13.0 million in 2007.
