Executive Vice President – Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer, IDACORP, Inc. and President and Chief Financial Officer, Idaho Power
Darrel Anderson was appointed Idaho Power and IDACORP, Inc. executive vice president of Administrative Services and chief financial officer Oct. 1, 2009.
In his role as a senior executive, his responsibilities include Finance, Risk Management and Administrative Services. He also continues in his previous role as chief financial officer for both IDACORP and Idaho Power, as well as retaining oversight of Human Resources, Information Technology, Corporate Services and Corporate Communications.
Prior to his current position, Anderson served as the company’s senior vice president of Administrative Services and chief financial officer from July 2004 to September 2009. In that role he was responsible for all financial and treasury functions.
Anderson started working for IDACORP and Idaho Power in 1996. Since then he also has served as vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, vice president of Finance and as a controller in the Finance Department.
Anderson graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and completed the Harvard Graduate School of Business Advanced Management Program. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Oregon (inactive).
